<p>Can I change my major before I start ?</p>
<p>I applied as a computer science and engineering, and I want to go into straight computer science. Is it possible to switch sheet recording acceptance, and if not is there really any difference between the two freshman year?</p>
<p>In many colleges, this will not matter because first year engineering majors all have to go through the same gen ed courses.</p>
