How difficult is it to change major to Global business from Social Sciences for an incoming first-year student? What’s the best way to present the case?
Does it impact the scholarship given?

I would contact your admissions counselor right away. We heard in a virtual info session that it is easier to request changes now, than later. There may still be an option in your portal to switch schools/ majors, but I would still confirm with a human first. Good luck!
