Major Change

Ive been accepted to NB for science, but was wondering how easy is it to change my major when I get to rutgers to business administation? Is rutgers flexible in that case?

I don’t really know but aren’t they in two separate schools? Did you apply to all of the schools or just Arts and Sciences?

You will probably have to wait until next year to apply to the Business School. They only accepted 400 freshmen and I think those spots are taken. It was pretty competitive to get in as the average Freshman had SATs of 2000.

Since the first year and a half you mainly take Gen Ed requirements, it’s not such a big deal. Just make sure you take the 6 Business Eligibility courses (Calc, stats, Micro and Macro Economics, Computers and Acct) and have a good GPA. They really are trying to grow the Business Program and I think they’ll take more students in the next few years.

I just applied to sebs. Mamajay im assuming ur from rutgers? if so, how is the general ed program in the first year, in terms of flexibility and class sizes. From wht i hear rutgers is TOO big…

My son is going to be a Freshman in the Business School in the Fall. He always wanted to go to a big school and is looking forward to Rutgers. I’m sure the lectures will be huge, but he doesn’t mind. Not sure about flexibility, but there seems to be a lot of course offerings.
