I was wondering if some majors are easier/harder than others in terms of GPA. I've heard that its easier to get higher GPAs in humanities related classes than in hard sciences so I was wondering if someone could give me their opinions regarding the relative difficulty of the types of classes/majors.

Duh! Government and Anthropology are two that come to mind. Also Economics, though you do have to get through a bit more quantitative stuff. For more, check out the roster of the football, hockey, basketball, etc, etc, etc teams. (I'm not dumping on jocks, but the commitment to a sport takes so much time, so chemistry, etc. majors are few and far between.) On the other hand, Harvard has a glorious history of skating docs!

put it this way, all my bio classes are normalized to a low B/high B-. The average grade for a government concentrator (excluding sophomore tutorial) is a B+.
