Major Dilemma

<p>Hello,
I am entering my third year at Virginia Tech. I have been majoring in Human Development. I chose this major because I genuinely like to listening to someones problems and making ways to solve their problems. Now I am having second thoughts because now I know what I want to do with my life. That is being a public school guidance counselor. Should I change my major? If so, to what?</p>

<p>also, can anyone give me some kind of path I should take to become a guidance counselor? </p>
