Major Essay Mistake

Okay, so I made an EXTREMELY stupid mistake on the essay. I'm really hoping this doesn't completely screw up my score, because I thought I did a fairly good job on the essay itself.

So I folded over the pages, and started writing on the WRONG page. So when I finished writing my first page, I realized I wrote it on the second page.

So basically, the second page of my essay is on the first page, and my first page is on the second.

My proctor just had me put page numbers at the top of the pages.

I know this is an extremely stupid mistake, I don't even know how I managed to do it.

Does anyone have any idea what this is going to mean for my score?

Thanks in advance for the help.

I don’t think this should really affect your score. I think they make copies of all three pages for the readers, or that the readers flip through all three pages. So you should be set. If they don’t see a page one obviously they’ll search through the other pages.

lol man i would be ****ting my pants

edit: man they censor too many words…

Probably won’t mean much. The readers aren’t stupid.

If I put one fact in my essay that is incorrect (the age required to be a president) can i still get a 12 jumpoff?

yeah, you can make up stuff for your essay.

Yes but dont you think if the reader knows the actual age is 35, my arguement will be lessened?

um… no.

Both of you should be fine.

the readers will not memorize what age you have to be to be president. they just want to see if you are capable of writing.

According to my essay, Woodrow Wilson also goes by the name Winston Churchill…

Sad face.
