whooo, let’s get into arguments on the internet because it’s so, so, so incredibly important.

(and as leanid so kindly pointed out, making one grammar mistake in an otherwise sensible and logical post is a sign of english not being your first language)

and oh look, i’m not using capital letters, i must be illiterate.

Let’s get this straight, since you don’t seem to have comprehended the thread, I didn’t correct anyone. I don’t really give a damn about the grammatical skills of an internet board. I never said I’m not prone to mistakes. As neato pointed out, I made a mistake in conjugation on a previous post.

I do get mad, however, if someone claims that I am illiterate because I treated “than” as a preposition–something which the best professors and the best writers claim to be alright.

Am I against someone correcting my mistake? No. Did I make a mistake (the one leanid “corrected”) no. I’m fine with neato making that distinction (adding to the humor is the path this thread has taken). I’m tempted to question your ability to use phrases such as the “pot calling the kettle black”, or your general understanding of what happened.

Anyway, with regard to the bolded text, do you have any empirical evidence. If you do, feel free to share–either publicly or through a PM. If not, then stop making claims based off of theory and/or logic. Since this board seems to be concerned about the grade a post would get on a written essay, let me break it down for you, urban, you failed. Why? You made a clear thesis statement which deviated from the previous topic (whether leanid’s correction was, in fact, accurate) without proper empirical evidence. Specious.

So no, the pot is not calling the kettle black.

Not my problem none of you can come up with any responses and bash on me for the sake of bashing on me.

Urban–those posts take about 1.5 minutes to write, nothing much. If anything, it is you who has antagonized this board with random strings of nonsensical comments (clearly, it’s your way of saying, “you are right, I had no clue what I was talking about”).

In relation to cheating on the test, don’t they ask you for your gender and race on the SSAT registration, so it would be harder for you to find someone to cheat for you.
