<p>Usually a PhD in Math, Physics, Econ, or CS, but I think there are a couple positions that require a masters (but I might be wrong);</p>

<p>Financial Engineering…or sometimes known as Computational Finance would be ideal, for an IB position, if you want to do get into Quant.</p>

<p>I heard that being a quant is a dead end job. Is that true?</p>

<p>Also, I’m looking into trading, will getting a masters in math or comp sci be beneficial?</p>
