Major help needed (transfer)

I posted this earlier, but just thought I would again for some background info.

I currently go to University of Houston and at the end of my first year i'll for sure(predicting) have a 4.0 or a 3.9 GPA at the least. Plenty of extra-curriculars and about 33 hours. Only thing holding me back is my high school record. 1030/1600 SAT, 3.2/4.0 GPA, and top 34%. Haven't taken any SAT 2 subject tests or AP classes in high school. Altough high school record is bad, college record is really great. Let me know if yall think I got a chance to transfer into Columbia. Thanks yall! Extra curriculars include. Manager of a store, manager of computer resources, high school basketball, track and cross country, MSA, head counselor for a camp in '05 and '06, VP of a youth club. Is it worth applying or do I have no chance at all?

Since i'll have more than 30 hours, would the ADcommittee look at my high school record and SATs heavily? I looked at the Rice website and it says you must atleast have a 3.2 for consideration to transfer. A 3.2 from a really good college like Rice..wow. But me not having any subject tests or AP classes, will that hurt my chances even though my college GPA is super high? Let me know yall if I have a chance to transfer!

this does not need to be a new thread. it's the same topic!
