Major Help Needed

OK, I applied to UCD as an Undeclared Humanities major because I was undecided if I wanted to study English, PR, Econ, or Managerial Econ. I now want to major in Managerial Economics, which I just found out is actually at CA&ES (I guess when I think “business” the agricultural dept. isn’t the first thing that comes to my mind…) So does my Undeclared Humanities major currently have me placed at L&S or CA&ES or what? If I’m at L&S, how do I change to Managerial Economics CA&ES? Help please! Thank you.

Speak with your GC about all of this--that's what they're there for. Many students switch their majors several times before they graduate, so don't stress too much about all of this.

Yeah, I don't think switching majors is a huge problem; I'm just concerned if switching colleges from L&S to CA&ES will be a problem...comments please...

I don't think switching is too big of a problem. I do know that Man. Econ admits you as a PRE Man. Econ, from there you have to complete the pre-reqs with a minimum GPA in order to be admitted into the major.

PRE Man. Econ, got it. Should I deal w/ making the switch now or later??

For all of my fellow freshmen that whish to switch majors:

I got an e-mail from my regional supervisor and asked about switching majors and/or colleges. She said it's no problm at all. You need to stay in your original college/major for one quarter, giving you the time to talk w/ advisors in both majors and both colleges before you switch.

That's all you need to know. Thought some of you might be interested.
