"Major" Help

Hey guys, I just need someone out there who can answer a few of my questions regarding college majors. I have been accepted at both UCD and UCI. I’d like to gear my undergraduate studies towards a premedical emphasis. I have been accepted into UCI Henry Samueli School of Engineering under Biomedical Engineering: Premedical, while I have been accepted at UCD under the Biotechnology major in the College of Agricultural Sciences.

-How good is The Henry Samueli School of Engineering at Irvine in terms of its premedical emphasis and students that go onto medical school?

-How good is UC Davis’s biomedical engineering: premed course?

-How easy is it to switch majors at UC Davis, specifically in my situation?

Thanks in advance for your help

UCI is not ranked for BME

You can switch majors into engineering at UCD but you will need to take certain prerequisite courses and maintain a high gpa (sorry I don't remember exactly what it is). You might want to post your question over in the engineering forum to see if someone knows the required courses and gpa.
