Major in both Computer Engineering and Philosophy, is it possible?

Is it possible to major in both a BA and BS at UCF?

Is the combination of Computer Engineering and Philosophy possible? How many credit hours would that be?

I havent fully looked into the classes required for this but i HIGHLY doubt you can do that. Double majoring is intense, a friend of mine at FIU is double majoring in criminal justice and nursing, but both are very easy majors with a lot of leeway for the classes needed, making it possible for my friend to overlap the requirements. To begin, these 2 majors probably require completely different courses, with philosophy being in the college of arts and sciences and computer engineering in the college of engineering. Any type of engineering requires 128 credit hours while the average major needs 120. Your probably wont have more than 2 or 3 classes that count for both. I just dont see that combination as a possible one. It also wouldnt make sense to combine those 2 majors, what job requires philosophy and computer engineering? =/ If the reason you want to major in philosophy is because the area is of great interest to you, it is possible for you to minor in philosophy. But again, minoring normally makes sense when the desired minor may overlap some classes, like if you wanted to become an engineer with a minor in math. Philosophy minors require 21 hours so thats 21 plus your 128 hours of engineering which seems really difficult, either requiring an extra year or fully loaded summers for every year your at UCF.

A girl on my floor is majoring in some type of engineering and M+M so I think it’s possible but I don’t see the point.
