Major in Criminal Justice or Sociology?

<p>I can't decide on which one to major/minor in.
Should I major in Criminal Justice and minor in Sociology.
Or Major In Sociology and minor in Criminal Justice?</p>

<p>Which would be better? I plan on joining the CIA eventually.</p>

<p>From my understanding, it doesn’t matter which major you choose. What matters is thatyou have a competitive GPA (3.3 or more). However, I was told that having a background in Political Science/International Relations and a minor in a language (Arabic, Russian, Mandarin, etc) is the best route to take. </p>

<p>Also, depending on what you want to do in the CIA, you will also need a few years of military experience preferably in the Special Forces and have done combat operations overseas. For some analyst positions this is not required but it will help you be competitive given the nature of the CIA.</p>
