Here's my situation. I graduated last year from Notre Dame - a school that does not have an International Political Economy major. I was really interested in this so I pieced together an IPE curriculum comparable to those of some other well respected universities. I graduated with a degree in political science - and I correctly list that on my resume.. however, I added "focused in International Political Economy" to the end. I'm wondering if listing a "focus" that does not officially exist could be considered dishonest. Thanks very much!

Its better to list courses you’ve taken on related to international political economy than write “focus”

My resume has “Political Science Major, Political Theory Concentration, with additional substantial coursework in American Political systems and quantitative data analysis” and that worked pretty solidly.
