Major mess up on application T.T

...so I've been working on my FAFSA forms and everything looks fine, until I go back to the Princeton Website to double check their deadline for FAFSA (April 15, 2010), and find this other gem: that there's another Princeton form (PFAA) that was actually due on January 15.

...which I didn't do.

I tried going to the link for it (princeton.edu/apply/aid) and it doesn't seem to work anymore.

What should I do? Is there a way to fix this mess? I was kind of under the impression that all financial aid forms were due in March/April. Ahhhh

:(

well, you can submit a CSS/PROFILE in lieu of their forms. although, you will have to pay 10 dollars to the money-hungry collegeboard.

I just submitted CSS…I think that’s fine except the priority dealine for that was Feb 2nd so that would be late too!

you financial aid application will still be considered. but the thing is, you might not get an estimate of your financial aid package by the time they send out the acceptance letters.

You cannot submit only the FAFSA and CSS; you must complete the PFAA. It states that right next to the requirements. However, I’m sure quite a few people screw this up so the ramifications are probably not that bad. If anything, it would probably postpone several things.

darn it…

Who said the PFAA was due on January 15th?

Quote from Princeton website:

“You should apply for financial aid by February 1 of the year you plan to enter college.”

Get the facts straight.
