I'm currently in my third year of college/second year at this university majoring in psychology. I want to go to graduate school for something along the lines of higher education, student affairs, or counselor education (depending on what's available at the schools I apply to). Career-wise I've been thinking leaning toward academic advising.

Right now I just have psychology as my major. I've been taking sociology classes and have considered having that as a minor, but am also considering minors in Business Leadership, Business Diversity, or Leadership & Social Change. Would there be an advantage to having any of these (so I stick out, in a way?) or does it not really matter since it's just a minor?

I'm building my resume a lot over the next year for graduate school, doing things including working in the admissions office and as an orientation guide, doing research in the in the social psych lab, and having an externship with a college access program for high schoolers. There are also a lot of other opportunities I hope to get a chance with, but I'm not sure what my chances will be with those programs.

So, any input on whether a minor would increase my chances for grad school? Or any other advice on what I should be doing? (Besides the obvious focusing on GPA & GRE scores...at this rate I'll probably end up graduating with a 3.4 cumulative GPA) Thanks in advance!
