I was planning on majoring International Affairs and a minor in physics. Because I do have a passion for science and math, but I don't want to become a rocket scientist and go too specific into physics.

Is this decision worthwhile and would the workload kill me?

Any recommendations?

This seems doable to me. Focus on getting your MAP courses out of the way as soon as possible so you can concentrate on your major/minor requirements once you have a clearer idea of what you want to do. Remember, you don’t need to declare your major until the end of your sophomore year, so there’s no pressure to decide right now. You’re likely going to change your mind a few times between now and then, anyways!
