major mistake

in the JHU supplement to the commonapp, i mistakenly put English as my number 1 major, and economics as my number 2 major while its the other way round actually, that is economics is my first choice and its the major about which i have written the essay.
Does this matter a lot since both are in the College of arts and sciences?

Naah it won’t.

Since Admissions don’t have quotas for majors to fill, it would not have any effect on admissions. It is too early to decide majors anyways.

^Except BME of course.

You should send a letter of update to the Admissions Office correcting the order of your majors. The reason for this is because your academic essay is written about Economics but your first choice major is listed as English. It can confuse the Admissions Counselor reading your application so you should clear up that error.

^ thanks- i faxed the admissions office.
