major prereq question

I'm a poli sci major and I need to take 2 more prereqs. My college has both of these classes but only offer these classes in the spring. I know I have until spring to finish my prereq's but I think it'll be confusing for me to take 2 poli sci classes at the same time.
So I'm thinking of commuting to another college and taking a poli sci class in the fall.

there's also another prereq called political thought. the college I'm going to right now doesn't have this class so I know i don't have to take it. however, the new college has this class.
so my question is do I have to take the politcal thought class if I'm only taking one class at the new
college? will ucla count this against me? because I really don't have time to take a 3rd poli sci class.

thanks

I’d just take the two political science courses in the Spring. I’ve done 3 math at the same time and 3 physics before. The latter was a mistake since I had way too many lab reports to take, but I don’t think that taking two courses in your major in the same semester should be too difficult. I mean, if you only take 1 3 hour course in your major every semester for 8 semesters - that’s only 24 hours out of 120 needed for graduation - most majors are probably 40ish hours or so - you really need to take more than one course for your major in a semester.
