hey everyone!
so i got the elusive "travel plans" e-mail and since i've been told it means i'm accepted, i am extremely considering NYU as my number one right now! :) (praying on financial aid + scholarships though hah)
so, in the meantime, i have some questions for current students, or really anyone about majors at NYU:

1) How is the Journalism program? I know it is a required so double major, but how are the courses? Obviously, I'd gather that there is a lot of practical work since the school is in one of, if not the, best cities for Journalism in the world. :) Also, is it a fairly large, small, or somewhere in between sized major? And therefore, very or little competition?
2) How is the Dramatic Literature major? I am considering doubling this up with the Journalism. I know there is a lot of study of written work as well as acting - correct? Again, how is the size and competiton??
3) How is the Law and Society minor? It is the one in conjunction with the Law School.
4) How is the Applied Theatre minor vs. the Performance Studies minor for the acting aspect?
5) I am hoping to do Broadway work eventually, but am interested in Journalism or Law as backups. I did not want to apply to Tisch so as not to be completely bound by their structure and only taking one type of course.

i have researched this stuff a lot, and am not looking for links to the NYU website, but instead if anyone else applied / is considering these majors or is a current student. or just knows this stuff! :) thanks!!
