Major requirements

I noticed that for majors in A&S it states:
"Students may choose to concentrate in two or three major fields. Each A&S non-interdisciplinary major must include at least 24 credit hours that are being counted solely toward the major."
Does this mean that those 24 credit hours cannot count toward AXLE credit either or just another major?

It means that 24 of the hours you take have to count only toward one major, even if the courses could normally count for something else. So if Major A is 30 hours and Major B is 30 hours and there are 9 hours you can take that count for both majors, you can only use 6 of those hours toward either major because 24 have to be dedicated solely toward one major.

Those hours can count toward AXLE credit as long as the course counts for AXLE credit.
