So I submitted my Brandeis U app a couple of days ago...
Today I went back and looked at it...
and I spelled Brandeis --> Brandies... Two times

I did it two times out of the five times I mentioned the school's name. (The other three I spelled right).

Should I contact Brandeis and let them know. My grammar and spelling is usually really good, but I let this one go by accident (SPELL CHECK YOU DIDN'T SEE IT! grrrrrrr).

Is there a way to fix it?

“SPELL CHECK YOU DIDN’T SEE IT! grrrrrrr”

France produces many fine brandies. :)

They’ll probably think I am an alcoholic…

I really would not bother contacting them over this. If you had misspelled Brandeis as “Stanford” or “Princeton,” then you would have a problem. As it is, I’ll guarantee you that most everyone who works at Brandeis has made that particular typo multiple times. It’s probably a custom entry in most of their spell checkers by now. :D

Thanks Geek_Mom.

Should I email a revised copy to Brandeis U?

If it’s the only way you’ll be able to get any sleep between now and April 1, then go ahead. Otherwise, relax and get on with things. This is not a “major incident,” and it will not make the slightest difference in your admission result. Good luck with that result, by the way. :)
