I'm a prospective freshman who wasn't admitted to engineering because of maximum capacity concerns. What major should I take freshman year to transfer into Engineering my sophomore year?
1. Physics
2. Mathematics
3. Applied Mathematical Sciences
Is it very difficult to transfer? Also, would doing the Engineering Academy at Blinn doing the "Early Entry Option into Engineering Major at TAMU" be a better option? Thanks in advance.

I know people that have done physics and transferred into engineering. I think if you take the cbk classes and get the grades you will get in.

to above^ do u know if you have preference being already enrolled in a&m? id be doing same thing as a junior almost, but would take all the pre reqs this summer.

Just call them and ask what you should be taking. But I would go with that CAP program at UT. Unless you happen to really like A&M.

@undecided2014 Why do you suggest the CAP program is a better option? I’d plan to take either engineering or CS if that helps in your explanation.
