What major is best for future dental students? I was thinking about Biology or Chemistry. Are there any others that I can possibily major in that’ll have the required pre reqs for dental school?
You can major in anything and go to dental school. It’s like pre-med - you major in whatever you want and take a pre-dental series of coursework that fulfills the prerequisites. Although you’ll naturally hit some prerequisites in the course of a biology or chemistry major, actually most of them will be outside your major even if you pick one of those. So pick something you like and that you think offers good prospects on the off chance that you change your mind or want to take a break before dental school.
