Major when you have no clue

My son will be applying to Clemson next month. He is really unsure what he would like to major in. There are lots that he doesn’t want to do (engineering/math). Are there certain majors that are considered “easier” to get into? I know he can change majors later - provided it is not a closed major.

I’ve heard applying to a major in the agricultural college gives students a better chance of being admitted because it general those majors were less popular but this was back in the 1990s.

I would think the parks, recreation tourism management major, PRTM, might be a little easier to get into.

He can select Undecided. What are his strengths and likes? Have him read about the different majors on Clemson’s website and check out their curriculum to see if something appeals to him. I also suggest calling admissions and speaking to one of the counselors. Tell them what his likes are and ask them to suggest majors. You can also ask how is stats are for the certain major.
