Major

My interests lie in Economics, Mathematics, and Philosophy. Up till now, I was most interested in schools like Brown and Wesleyan that have an Economics-Mathematics major, where I would be able to either double major or minor in Philosophy.

However, out of the blue, I discovered the PPE program - Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. This major sounds very interesting but I am unable to find more information on it. Amazingly, it is offered at basically my favorite and most practical (in terms of chance) school - Wesleyan.

Does anyone know anything more about this major? Would I be able to study Economics with a math concentration and Philosophy as much as I would if I majored in Econ-Math and doubled or minored in Phil?

This is a pretty specific question, so thanks to anyone that can answer it.

Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philosophy,_Politics_and_Economics

It has two links to the PPE programs at Oxford and UPenn.

Your course emphasis will probably differ from school to school. If you go to UT, for example, you can create your own PPE major through the Humanities program: http://www.utexas.edu/cola/progs/humanities/contracts/sample_contract/#ppe

That's funny I was just looking at the Wikipedia article and didn't think to use those links. Thanks.
