After getting accepted as undeclared major, can you easily declare your major in biology?
Also, does applying with undeclared major, rather than a bio major improve chances of getting accepted?

it depends how the university would look at it... I guess they would consider that an applicant with an undeclared major might try for a really competitive major after they get accepted. If your major is not an unimpacted one, I would say that the chances of getting in are equivalent (undeclared, bio, engineering, etc.).

You are not accepted into any particular major at Stanford. You are accepted to the university, and have till the end of your sophomore year to declare a major.
