<p>No. The only point about listing a major is it gives the file reader a tiny window on what your thinking is. It has no impact on admissions due to the fact that they know most people change majors.</p>
<p>you can leave it blank and it won't hurt you. And this is quoted from an admissions rep, BTW</p>
<p>Side note: if I remember correctly, I stated "Chemistry" as my intended major despite the fact that I had only gotten Bs in my Honors Chem class junior year. LOL</p>
<p>It didn't affect my admissions at all. And I ended up being an Econ major!! LOL</p>
<p>Basically, if you think you'd like to major in something, write it down. If you're undecided, write that. This isn't an area where you can game anything. Best of luck to you both</p>
