Majoring in business or math or finance... help me decide....

I want to go into business, but i do NOT want a Business administration degree(or an accounting degree)

I was thinking mathematics + economics, finance, financial mathematics, statistics, or just plain old mathematics

Will degrees in any of those help me land a job in business in 4 and a half years?

BTW I am looking at large state schools to attend

my top 3 choices are Northeastern, Delaware, and James Madison

well, if you go the finance and economics path, you could do well in i-banking. really, i would consider adding economics to any major. economics is different than the other business degrees typically offered, because it does not direct you towards a type of job. you are not being directed towards, we'll say, direct marketing. instead of helping a company understand how to reach their customers in a direct manner, you help them understand the environment in which they are doing business. your critical thinking will also improve greatly, as economics is very conceptually based.

Look in some Applied Math programs too.
