I've always considered majoring in drama, but it seems like the drama at my school doesn't include too much acting actually. Only 3 acting classes are required, (you can take more for electives), but the rest are really just theater history and stage management (costumes, lighting, etc.). If I'm just interested in contemporary acting and playwriting, and not so interested in tech theater, is it possible to advance into grad school or continue on with acting without majoring in drama? and if so, how?

btw.. i'm already a senior, so it might be a bit late to change my major into drama. but i was just going to take classes that may help. i've already taken the acting series, and i plan to take a critical analysis of theater course, but in order to get to the advanced level electives, i'm supposed to take lots of tech and theater history courses. don't know if it will help too much or not.
