majoring in econ as undergrad?

will this be a helpful major for law school?

Depends. Economics is always a good major to do, especially of you want to become a corporate lawyer. Also, if you decide you don't want to do law later college, you can easily do business.

true. i've heard of something called corporate law, but concerning medicine? what would this ential?

If you want to do medicine, you can major in anything as long as you meet the pre-med requirements. That said, most people choose to major in a science (biology, chemistry, etc.).

If you want to learn more about medical requirements, I suggest you go to the Pre-Med board. The members on there have researched the topic thoroughly and can provide better advice.
