Hi Everyone!

I'm a freshman at a Community College and I want to get a BS in Hotel Administration or the like.
I thought about transferring to UNLV after getting my Associate in Business, but I don't know if they would accept it since I'm not attending a Community College in Nevada.
What are some schools other than UNLV with good Hospitality programs?
Oh and I know that Cornell has the best school, but I don't have enough money nor the scores to get into their program.

And also, what are the differences between the majors in Hospitality?
I've heard of a BS in Hotel Administration and Management, a BA in Hospitality Management, a BA and BS in Hospitality Business Management and a BS and BA in Hospitality Business.

I thought about Cornell but they’re really expensive and it would be really far away from home since I live at the West Coast.
Are there any outstanding schools in Cali?
I heard that Washington State University also offers a great program, but theirs barely any info on their website.

Oops, I’m sorry.
I meant “on” the West Coast, and “there is”.

You might want to check out the college search.

Check out Nevada-Las Vegas, if you’re not opposed to living in Vegas. My best friend from high school went there for hospitality, now works at the Venetian.

@aheadofthegame: I had some questions about majoring in Hotel Administration and Hospitality Management. I too am from the West Coast, and I was researching some leadership majors and I came across those. I’ve been looking for descriptions and summaries of these studies, but couldn’t really find what I was looking for.

Would you be kind enough and explain to me what you learn in those majors? I love economics, mathematics, marketing strategies, and speaking. I was planning on doing an international relations major, but this seems more interesting.
