<p>how hard is it to actually get into your major. Operation Research: Financial Engineering in particuliar (for me).</p>
<p>The web site makes it sound SOO selective. Am i, and many other people, looking at a possibility of getting rejected from a department after finally getting into Columbia?</p>
<p>Fin Eng is the only major at Columbia where you actually have to "get in." Every other one, you just sign up for. It's really to early to tell what it takes to get into Fin Eng.</p>
