Majors At Ucla - Undeclared, Etc.

I have several questions:

I know that it's harder to get into UCLA if you apply to the school of engineering than L&S, but is it harder to get into UCLA if you choose a specific major over another major in the same college (example: choosing economics(pre) over global studies in the college of l&s) especially from a social sience to business or something

Also, which category does BUSINESS-RELATED things go into? Or do you jsut apply to them separately?
Undeclared - hUmanities?
Undeclared - Life sciences?
Undeclared - Physical sciences?
Undeclared - Social sciences?

Is economics under social sciences? What is life sciences, opposed to physical sciences, and what exactly is humanities?

is it harder to get into ucla if you choose any one of those opposed to another?

thanks!

No, it is not harder to get into UCLA based on your major within the College of Letters and Science. Business-related things fall under the realm of Social Sciences. Yes, Economics goes under Social Sciences. Life Sciences is Neuroscience, Psychobiology, MCDB, MIMG, etc. Physical Sciences is Chemistry, Geology, Atmospheric Science, etc. Humanities is English Literature, Japanese, Philosophy, etc.
