I am a high school senior planning to attend law school and I was wondering what undergrad majors are best for entertainment law? I plan to transfer to UF in 2 years and I'm thinking about double majoring in film studies and economics. Thanks!

There is no concrete pre-law program for undergraduates. However, many universities like to see some diversity, as opposed to focusing on one subject. I think economics would be greatly beneficial, and film studies as well. Film studies could be great if you focused on communications.

The recommended and most common majors are:

Business/Economics (especially for corporate lawyers)
Sociology
Psychology

Law schools love to see critical thinking, so any courses you could take which will help to develop that would be good. Also I think the fact that you are going to pursue a double major is amazing. It can only help.
