*some colleges allow two majors and four minors… *

Wow, I’ve never heard of anyone having 4 minors. I thought 2 was the most…wow.

*one day i would like to be a doctor, so what should i major and minor in?

i love physics, so i would like a major in that.

and ik you should either get majors in physics, chemistry and biology- so maybe a major in both phyics and biology?

or a major in biophysics and biochemistry? so it’s kind of like all three?

It sounds (to me) that you’re trying to come up with a great combo that will help you get accepted to a good med school.

My son is pre-med, and he’s double majoring in Chem Engineering and Biology.

Unless you’re going to come into the school with a lot of AP credits, it can be hard to fulfill the requirements for double majors or lots of minors.

When you say that you’re going to take “college chem” your senior year; do you mean AP Chem or a class at a college?

Even if you get AP Bio and/or Chem credits, you still need to take both at college. Some med schools won’t accept Chem or Bio credits if the only ones you have are from high school. They usually will allow you to use AP credits to jump to more difficult bio and chem classes.

It’s important that you don’t overwhelm yourself to the point that your GPA suffers.

As long as you take the suggested classes for pre-med at your college, get high grades, and do well on your MCATS, you can get accepted to med school. :)
