I applied for Electrical Engineering at Texas A&M and then got accepted, but only under “Engineering Review”. Which apparently means that all spots are full and a holistic review process will be undergone in order to determine the next wave of applicants for that major. However, that was 4 weeks ago, and yet my friend who submitted his application after me (2 weeks later) which I might go to say had lower credentials had been accepted to that exact same engineering major that put me in Engineering Review. He was accepted just yesterday and I am still in Engineering Review. How can that be?
