wat r the courses that this uni is famous 4?

Miami has a number of well respected programs. To name just a few, the Farmer School of Business has been listed as a top 20 undergraduate business program by Business Week for several consecutive years. In addition, Miami has outstanding stats for acceptance to medical and law schools.

Miami’s recent claim to fame is being rank #2 by USN&WR for undergraduate teaching. My DS will be returning to Oxford in a few weeks for his Soph year. As a freshman, he had one class with 70 people in it, the rest had about 30 or less students. It was easy to develop a relationship with all of this professors.

Relationships between students and faculty seem to be a priority. For example, my DS joined a fraternity last year. The faculty advisor to his fraternity happens to be the dean of the B-school. The dean came to the house one evening and gave a talk to the fraternity. After, he stayed and had conversations with any and all members who wanted to talk. The dean and my DS spent at least 20 minutes talking one-on-one about the advantages and disadvantages of various majors, courses of study etc.

-This is very true, this year graduates had great choices. Most pre-meds are Zoology major. I do not know current rankings, but in 2008 Zoology dept. was in top 10 in a country. Great pre-med committee also.
Overall awesome place to be in UG. Looking back, I am very happy that D. went to Miami. She graduated in May.
