What majors are good for undergraduate studies
at Stanford?

That's rather vague... I mean, all the majors are pretty good I guess, just depends what you like! That's what matters!

I can say that I'm a pretty happy Biological Sciences major. My advisor is very supportive, and the classes are interesting. However, the core (3 classes that every bio major has to take) is very competitive due to the large number of overachieving pre-meds.

As always, you get lots of bang for your buck with the small majors. These include the physical sciences and mathematics, many of the humanities, earth sciences ...

majors that (at any school like stanford) will have lots of students include english, bio, poli-sci, IR, econ, history, engineering. though i don't mean to put these majors down, you certainly won't have the luxury of having more faculty than majors each year, as you might in chem or philosophy

Well if you mean what is stanford good at then the answer is easy. Everything I don't think I've heard of any people say: "but stanford isn' too good in ..."

Stanford is good across the board, which is a rarity in academia.

Weaker programs include art, art history and performance music. But they are getting better.
