Majors

If you're a science major or a history major is it bad to take only those classes? I mean you probably won't have fun, but what if you really want to graduate early and actually like those clases?

You can't just take those classes. At most schools there is some form of general education requirements that you have to satisfy. Those requirements are spread out across various areas.

The problem with that is that at some schools you have to take a core curriculum. Another is that maybe you'd like another subject a lot more, so the general consensus is that you shouldn't be afraid to explore.

EDIT: ^ Beat me to it, I see.

I'm going to say to some extent, it is a bad idea. You really can graduate early and explore a bit at many schools. Only taking fields in your major is just very limiting and disregards an immense freedom you have while college. Taking related courses outside of your major may give you a much deeper understanding of what you study, and may make you enjoy college more.
