<p>It would definitely be possible to minor in architecture (CMU encourages that type of thing), but if you wanted a double major, remember it takes 5 years to get a architecture degree so I'm not sure how well that would work.</p>

<p>No, you don't have to apply if its a minor. Keep in mind that CMU's architecture minor is meant to help people work with architects (and covers history etc.) instead of to teach you to become an architect.</p>
