<p>The thing about AP Engineering is that engineering curricula in the lower division typically consists of a bunch of AP courses already: AP Physics C, Calculus BC, Computer Science A, and Chemistry. The actual depth-specific courses with value come after these courses and are typically upper division, some being lower division but still with the above AP courses as prerequisites. </p>

<p>It’s a social science, and in the CSU system there are courses such as healthy living / sports activities, first year seminars, family planning, what defines a man/woman/society, etc courses that fulfill this.
So make PE and add wellness / lifestyle an AP course.</p>
