On Web Advisor, on the Prospective Students menu and under admissions, the options "Make an Enrollment Deposit" and "Make a Housing Deposit" appeared this morning. The enrollment deposit page includes "Congradulations in being accepted to Chapman..."

I am a Dodge applicant who switched on Wednesday from Film Production to Screenwriting (my second choice major) after I didn't get into production.

Does this Web Advisor change mean I've been accepted? Or is it just a technical issue?

We recently posted a new Online Enrollment Deposit Form on WebAdvisor to make it easier for Admitted Students to accept the terms of admission and make their enrollment deposits electronically. Unfortunately, the form contained an ambiguous congratulatory introduction regarding acceptance to Chapman University. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused for prospective students anxiously awaiting their admission decision, and have made changes so that the form is more clearly identified for only those Admitted Students who have been formally notified of their admission with an Acceptance Packet from Chapman University. We thank you for your patience and remind you that it is our policy to never inform students of their admission status online, so being able to access the Online Enrollment Deposit Form in WebAdvisor does not mean you or your student has been admitted to Chapman University. Please feel free to contact the Chapman University Office of Admission with any questions at admit@chapman.edu.
