Make Good Use of the Search Feature

<p>on college websites when investigating and comparing schools. So many of the answers to the more specific questions about individual schools (e.g. class profiles, admissions requirements, course offerings, majors offerered, research and internship opportunity, faculty, cost, financial aid, links to current students willing to answer questions, extra-curricular activities, unique programs, student newspapers, the physical plant, athletics, etc......) are easily found with just a little searching within the schools' websites.</p>

<p>Not to say that you should not come to these boards for all sorts of advice about process and strategy and fit and in search of personal testimony, etc. but it sometimes amazes me what kinds of factual information students profess is difficult to locate when a good portion of it is a few clicks away. Not only may you find the answers to your specific questions, the more you explore, the more you will get a sense of the school.</p>
