<p>OP - You have great momentum now, with an internship opportunity. I can’t see throwing that away. </p>
<p>It seems unwise to switch now. Engineering is HARD, and many students switch out. There are many required courses, and if you don’t happen to be interested in one it will be tough to persevere.</p>
<p>OP: If your school has dual degree programs (Bus and Eng, etc) within your school or joining with other college , you have to take a look and talk to your advisor. That’s probably what you are looking for. Good luck.</p>
<p>Physics is a subject for which neither of kids, both starting out in electrical eng, is really prepared. Thanks for the book recommendation. It hopefully will provide some needed background knowledge for their required physics classes.</p>
