Dear Class of 2010,

I'm a member of the Yale Class of 2009 as well as a reporter for the Yale Daily News (Get involved when you come!!!). First of all, if you have any quesitons about which college to choose, don't hesitate to shoot me an e-mail at Andrew.Mangino@yale.edu.

Anyway, I am looking to find out each of YOUR stories for an article I'm writing on 10 members of the Class of 2010 for the freshman issue of the Yale Daily News. I'm going to feature 10 students who have done interesting things or have a little quirky trait about them; if you think you don't meet the criteria, there is no reason to not give it a try. Just sent me a short e-mail. Also, if you know anyone else in the Class 2010 who has impressive accomplishments under the belt, let me know if you could. The issue will be mailed to the entire Class of 2010 in August.

So please, send me a 3 or 4 line e-mail with some accomplishments: Andrew.Mangino@yale.edu. Here is your chance to be totally arrogant! I'm just looking for interesting stories, and I know the group admitted to Yale (and who apply to Yale, period) always have done fascinating things that I'm sure your classmates would be interested in. Not to mention that it's a way to get a little taste of fame going into the first day of classes!

Again, my e-mail is Andrew.Mangino@yale.edu. Basically just send me - right away (deadline is approaching) - what you've done or what about you is so impressive that Yale would accept you. ANYTHING GOES! I won't share your responses with anyone, so be totally honest and don't be humble. I look forward to your stories.

Best,
Andrew
