I never wear makeup; I'm too lazy to put it on. :-P I'm so used to not wearing it that it would never work anyway...whenever I have to wear stage makeup I always end up rubbing my face or something and smearing it EVERYWHERE.

The only thing I use is C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Balm stuff. It's minty, it works, and it tastes good. :)

i tend to go back and forth in phases between wearing foundation/eyeliner/mascara and not wearing any makeup at all. i feel better with a little foundation on, but there are times when i just don't care enough (like these past couple of weeks, where i haven't been doing very much and it's been really really hot). i'm really bad at taking OFF makeup, though, i almost always fall asleep in it.

I used to wear Clinque and all their crap, but I realllllly began to hate the look that liquid foundation gave me, so I switched. Now I use Bare Minerals. I completely and totally recommend it. Excuse me while I sound like an infomercial. lol... I used to break out A LOT, but after switching to Bare Minerals, I never break out. Its great. Friends of mine have even asked me if I'm wearing any makeup when I wear Bare Minerals. It just looks that natural. Just a little hint if you're gonna start wearing Bare Minerals: Don't go overboard with the warmth. A friend of mine just started using it and the first few days she wore it she went WAY overboard on the warmth powder and looked like she had really bad sunburn.

I never wear lipstick/gloss or anything like that. I'm a total ChapStick person. lol... There's always a tube in my pocket. I pretty much die if I forget it at home. I think I should start a group: CUA = ChapStick Users Anonymous.

I rarely wear mascara because I have really long dark eyelashes even though I have blonde hair. I never ever wear eye liner. It just looks really weird on me.

You only need mascara, a tiny bit of blush, maybe eyeliner (only if you have green or blue eyes), and some lip gloss to look natural and pretty.

i never wear foundation or blush or that junk on my skin, cuz i have been blessed with really good skin, and makeup really makes you break out! I like to keep my makeup subtle, i hate it when you can see girls with caked on foundaiton and really over-the-top eyelashes for school. i only wear makeup when i'm going out, and i like to keep it at a minimum. i normally just put on a little bit of eye shadow, curl my eyelashes, put on mascara , and line my lower lashes. also i looooove victoria's secret lipgloss, my friend gave me some for christmas and they are yummy!! also love Burt's Bees... only i keep on losing mine :( i recommend for drugstores Cover Girl Lash Exact. and for eyeliner, if you have asian eyes (like me) don't draw an entire line for your lower lash line. use a trick all the asian beauty magazines show... draw a thin line right under your pupil, so its only underneath the pupil and not the entire bottom lash line. that way it looks natural, but still gives the impression of bigger eyes. and yes, makeupalley is fab!! haha. but i still can't believe that people can have like 2 suitcases full of makeup, that's crazzzzzzzzzy.

I am so utterly clueless when it comes to makeup. I use lipgloss fairly regularly, but beyond that, nothing. For dances, I just get one of my makeup-savvy friends to do my eyes.

I look at makeup and I cringe because I have no idea what goes where and what anything's for. Well, I know eyeliner and eyeshadow go on the eyes and lipstick on the lips and the like, but I don't know how to apply anything. I'm definitely not gifted when it comes to makeup.

Well, if you are a pretty girl, you do not need much make up or any make up at all. If you have long hair, you don't need it either since you can always draw attention to your hair to make yourself look beautiful.

But some girls are ugly. Some girls need make up. Not many of them, but there are a few unlucky ones. And some girls look good with no make up and make up only makes them look even more interesting to look at!

I like to just wear eyeliner on the top lid. I like to flare it out in the outer corners. It makes my eyes bigger and more Bambi like. I want to try that thing where you put white eye liner on the lower lid.

Then I wear chapstick or something. The kind that can tint your lips red/pink. I HATE cheap chapstick. I must have those fancy ones or the actual Chapstick brand. Sometimes I wear lipstick and then liquid chapstick but the colour does not last.

Sometimes my mom puts foundation on my face. I didn't think I needed it, but it really makes you look... really really good! And a really small amount of blush. And lip liner. It makes me look so mature and beautiful and sexy. Ahhh! Haha, okay.

To the girl who has Bare Minerals - what was included and how much does it cost? I was thinking of getting it. I have like... a few dark marks that aren't moles on my chin and jaw and neck and sometimes I get pimples on my jaw area and Proactiv is NOT getting rid of this. Its not a huge problem for me, but ... some days when I'm feeling really self-concious, it gets to me. So I always wanted to know more about Bare Minerals.

quitejaded: The "Getting Started" kit is $75 and it really is a good deal. You get the foundation powder, warmth, mineral veil, and clear radiance powders in the kit along with the 3 brushes. It also comes with an instructional dvd (I never watched it), Skin Rev-er Uper, and a refillable compact. I also got the concealer powder because I also have random dark marks. I think the concealer was an additional $18. The starter kit lasts FOREVER. Its ridiculous. lol... People are seriously amazed when they find out I'm wearing makeup. They're like, "OMG but it just looks like you have flawless skin!" It's pretty cool stuff. I recommend finding a Bare Escentials store. Just go to their website: www.bareescentials.com

I tried the white eyeliner on the lower lid, but I didn't apply it myself. The makeup artist at the salon did it when she did my makeup for prom. It actually looked really good, but I would never wear it unless I had an event or something. It really brought out my eyes, and I didn't think they could be brought out any more. lol

a little bit of foundation to cover messed up dark circles. I also use

eyeliner to line my top lashes

mascara

cream blush

lip balm

If i feel really ambitious, i'll put a bit of eyeshadow. I'm asian so whenever i put eyeliner/mascara on you can't REALLY tell. it looks pretty natural.

i never wear makeup to school. but when i go out, i HAVE to wear it.

i use the following:
mascara (i absolutely love mascara = a MUST have)
eyeshadow (second MUST have, i usually go w/the smokey look or blue, my fave color)
eyeliner (bottom mostly, third must have)
lipgloss (altho i forget to reapply them constantly, i like them)

i DON'T use the following:
lipstick
brow pencil
lip pencil
liquid foundation (actually just about any kind foundation)
blush
or just any powder-y stuff that you put on your entire face (mainly b/c i feel like i'm allowed to touch my face afterwards. plus, i feel like my pores are being "stuffed")

Bare Minerals is AMAZING. Started using it a few months ago and I completely love it...doesn't feel like I'm wearing anything, etc, etc, everyone else has already said it but I thought I'd add my $.02 anyway.

Okay, so, I use that, and:
- Burt's Bees lip balm
- Mascara
- Eyeliner...hah so few people here wear eyeliner. I only use it on the inner rims of my eyes, though; anything else has the potential to look scary.

Lori, I love that stuff too. It's amazing, and it doesn't dry out your lips like other lipglosses do. But it's quite expensive when it's not on sale.

gah i'd die without makeup. i look awful without it ahaha. i like bare minerals too but it contains this stuff called bismuth something and it irritates my skin. but i have freakishly sensative skin on my face. i use everyday minerals instead cos it has all the same ingredients as BM just minus that one. anndd i second that peppermint lipgloss from B&BW! its godlike. i love ittttt. i like the cinnimon one too, a ton of guys in my classes compliment it ahah its so cute.

my daily routine seems like a lot but it takes me no more than 5 minutes a day. i use
-face moisterizer
-concealer under my eyes
-mineral foundation
-eyeliner
-sometimes eyeshadow (i like to play around with stuff, i test things on makeup alley but usually i'll just use a silvery one on the inner corner and blend a darker color from the outer corner to the middle and wing it out a bit.)
-mascara
-lip gloss

I wish i could live without makeup, but I cant.. and I think makeup is fun to apply haha so .. I reccomend

bareminerals- I don't have acne or anything, but this stuff is amazing. makes your face look completely smooth and even and natural. theres a kit that you can buy that comes with pretty much all that you need.

and eyeliner.. i buy the cheap loreal waterproof kind but it works better than anything. no smudging or fading

mascara- keep it simple and non-clumpy- $10 mac black mascara
or clinique

and mac eyeshadows are good.

eyesfacelips.com it has really cheap makeup. its all about $1 not all of it is good, but the eye stuff is.. also the facewhip.. dont buy the brushes

Ohh my gosh, I LOVE makeup. This is generally what I wear:

Covergirl clean makeup foundation (it's cheap, but I use foundation all the time and it works. I really want some Vincent Longo foundation but it's like 50 bucks.)

Elizabeth Arden Blush

Stila Mascara (though Dior is better, I want to get some new Dior masc. soon.)

URBAN DECAY EYESHADOW. my favorite.

Sephora brand eyeliner (though Benefit has my favorite eyeliner)

Lola, NARS, or Lancome lip gloss.

I don't know why, but I have never really worn MAC products. I only own one lipglass. I really want to buy some Smashbox products. Lola is one of my favorites but they never really come out with new products.
