I just finished ninth grade and going to be entering my sophomore year. I’m not going to any SAT “bootcamp” or anything; instead, I’ll be independently self studying.
The catch is that I’ll be taking the redesigned SATs in 2016 (my PSAT is also in the 2016 format). So, it’s kind of confusing what I can study since I’m using all of my sister’s old SAT books. I’m waiting for the redesigned SAT practice books from College Board and Kaplan, which are going to be released at the end of July…
For anyone who remembers just starting out with SAT preparation, where do I start? Also, should I make a schedule for SAT preparation, because I’ve heard that some people make one to be more organized. I’m trying to raise my score from 1750 to around 2100 by the end of this summer.
It’s just really confusing due to the new vocabulary that’s coming out!
Thanks a bunch! Please comment, I would really appreciate it. Also, please tell me your techniques if you guys independently study!
