Making changes after submission

My daughter submitted her application for the Fall few days ago and now she wants to apply for the summer session instead. It looks like a brand new application is needed to make this change. Is it better to just leave it as is at this point or start the whole new process. Getting into the summer session is not critical but getting into FSU (out of state) is.

applying for the summer term not only increases your chances for gaining an admission spot, but for oos students in particular its a great way to get acclimated with the campus community and meet some new friends.

If you want to change the term you are applying for, the best thing would be to call the admissions department and ask them to change it.

She is actually planning to study abroad for the first 3 semesters - that is why she can’t wait.

For the last two admissions cyckes, if you wanted to change your request from fall to summer you had to resubmit the entire application. The app part is fairly quick and I am guessing that you have a save of the essay and resume.

Call admissions and check, but for the past two years, this was their response.
