My college just called me and said that i entered the wrong social security for my mom in my fafsa application. Would I need to enter my moms pin number instead of mines when making a correction?

You will enter your PIN to enter your FAFSA. Once you have corrected the SSN, you will have to submit the corrections. You will need your mom’s PIN, and probably yours, too. It will ask you for the PIN(s) when you go to submit the change.

It did not ask for my mother’s PIN number??

That’s odd. I think it should have asked for the parent PIN, since it was a change to parent information. Maybe not, though. Wait a couple days while it processes, then check to make sure the change processed and the transaction did not reject.

Ok thank you for your help :)
